It was here that Sif really saw the harsh world of Skyrim.

However, Storn would train her how to wield a dagger, where to stab and how deep, how to angle her hands and body - she may not be able to hold her own in a real fight but he wanted to give her a fighting chance should she ever need.įew years passed with little incidents - save for one after her 14th year, when the family made a trip to Falkreath to sell their crops, and they had a run in with a local bandit crew. However, when her father returned with a coin purse and spent his time training in Jorrvaskr, Sif would follow, watching the mighty Companions duel and unlike the other two children - Farkas and Vilkas - the small bosmer child was not allowed to join. He was often gone for days at a time and during this time, Sif had no time to sneak to Whiterun she spent most her time working on the farm with her mother, and during this period it was when her mother began to teach her to use a bow and arrow to hunt for food when there wasn’t enough crops to eat after selling them.

It was then that Else decided they would raise this babe, she wouldn’t leave her in Honorhall Orphanage or Storn’s suggestion of “leaving the elf to die,” and so, she named her Sif.ĭuring her 10th winter, the family hit a rough patch with the farm and there simply wasn’t enough food or gold to put food on their table, thus Storn joined the Companion’s to earn his small family extra gold. Storn sent word to local areas, asking if anyone was missing a child or if anyone saw a bosmer family but their responses provided them no information. At first they attempted to find her parents, looking for any hints of the newborn’s family but they came across nothing. But his wife, infertile and longing for a child of their own saw this as a gift from the Divines, swooping up the babe and adjusting her blankets and when Storn began to protest she sent him a glare that would cause even the the hardiest warrior to back down. It was Storn who first discovered the newborn, hidden amongst some bushes in a woven basket and at first, he suggested they kill the elf child, that it’d be kinder. Storn Wolf-Heart was a large Nordic man, with muscles more prominent than his brain, but for his wife he would turn to putty and Else Wolf-Heart, built with love and softness in the world. Sif was barely older than a newborn when found by Storn and Else, a married couple making a delivery to Falkreath. And now four years later I still do both. I learned a few years later that he almost handed the whole team to me! So in a few months, I went from posting headcanons online to leading a team.

The team lead liked it, and asked me to become the art lead. Turns out I was pretty much the only active CA on the team, and I had brought with me this already built vision of Elsweyr I had developed in my personal projects. I was super interested and posted my portfolio and instantly got accepted. Samurai Healer got my contact and messaged me asking if I wanted to join. I gained a following for it, and someone with connections (Lady Nerevar I believe?) told the Elsweyr guys about me. Back then I wrote and drew for TES lore stuff and Khajiit were my specialty, I worked on original content and not for any TES game in particular. I was aware of the project, I knew a girl who worked on Black Marsh, and I had ended up on the DC forums as part of the Ta'agra project. Samurai Healer was the one who contacted me first. I joined the team back when there were maybe a dozen of us.
